Autumn Vibes & Self Love 🧡🍂

The fall here in Massachusetts has always been my favorite. Being a kid I remember the calming feeling of just sitting outside and listening to the wind lightly blow through the beautiful colored leaves. I lost so much of that and this year I really took it back. In the beginning of the season I took time to sit on my back porch in silence and just look up and the leaves and breathe. I also got myself dressed up, grabbed my tripod and did a little mini photo shoot in my backyard.

This is the happiest I have been in YEARS with how I look. YES, I still have my moments of self loathing (many of them at times). But I can look in the mirror and finally look at myself. If you listen to my podcast you know that over the summer I got myself a Peloton and started my Peloton journey! It's had so many highs and some lows, but I have been pretty consistent and really loving the bike. It's helped me push even when I feel like I can't. A year ago, you would NEVER catch me wearing a crop top. But here I am outside, for all to see my flaws. Am I where I want to be? No not at all close. But mentally I am going in the right direction. And for me that truly is a big win. I have also had a very negative relationship with my scale and have had to put it away again and stop looking and focusing on a darn number. That number does not measure my value and my worth. The Peloton for me has made such a positive impact. There are days where getting on the bike seems so difficult, but I get dressed pick a ride and go go go. Some days aren't my best and that is OK. Not every ride is going to be my best output, but I am doing more now than I use to and I am at least doing SOMETHING. I encourage all of you to find something that helps your mental state, right now we all need a little "ME TIME."
